This week I was thinking about decisions, and I discovered …
… I admire Jesus for doing what He was supposed to do with unwavering determination while being mocked and beaten, for the sake of those His Father loved, knowing His decision would kill Him. (Luke 22)
And so, I meditated on Jesus’s resolve and realized …
… my heavenly status should direct my decisions. (Colossians 3:1-2)
This got me to wondering what others had to say about decisions …
Tim Keller said, “How many ways are there to live? Are there two ways to live, two paths, two trees, two gates? Yes and no. This is one of the most hard-hitting parts of the Bible. It is pretty astonishing. In fact, let’s get right to it. There’s a call to discernment, a call to narrow spaciousness, and a call to action, to decision.”

In the end, I remembered hearing about a Decision Gauge…
…will this decision reflect my citizenship in Heaven?
Until next time,
